Hilda Mugure

Since 2015, Hilda has led Atlas Tea Brokers with visionary expertise grounded in 39 years of industry experience. Her journey began at the Kenya Tea Development Authority and progressed through major roles at Finlays Tea Estates, where she managed black tea sales, and later as a Tea Sales Manager in Mombasa. She also worked internationally with Twinnings in the UK, gaining hands-on experience in blending and export markets. In 2019, she served as Marketing Lead for Tea Swaps UK under PwC, a global assignment that reinforced her standing as a seasoned tea marketing consultant. Notably, Hilda was the first female broker to sell teas at the Mombasa Tea Auction. She holds professional certifications in Sales and Marketing, Corporate Governance, and Finance from institutions including the Institute of Sales and Marketing (London), INSEAD (France), and KCA University, and is an alumna of Strathmore Business School.
